Public bug reported:

On a Dell GX280 with an ATI Radeon X300 PCIE (RV370) 5B60 video card and a Dell
2405FPW (DVI) The max correct resultion on screen is 1600x1200. If I change
the resultion to max (1920x1200) in the KDE : System settings Monitor &
Display section the screen is warped on the sides, Parts of t he screen seems
doubles (As in a very bad tv reception) Scaling back to 1600x1200 removed the
bug.
Kubuntu 6.10 has worked correctly with these hardware settings.
