Thanks for your bug report. Can you get a backtrace with totem-xine-dbgsym
installed doing the following?
$ gdb totem
...
(gdb) break gdk_x_error
(gdb) set logging on
(gdb) run
...
(gdb) thread apply all bt full
and attach the output here.
