OK, I've now also tested this with thinkfinger, which was newly updated and posted.
Thinkfinger and fprint are both working for login, both working for authentication with update manager, et al, and NEITHER is working with sudo from the command line, leading me to believe that the actual defect is common to both. This regression is unique to Maverick. ** Summary changed: - [Maverick regression] libpam-fprint & libpam-fprintd not working with basic sudo + [Maverick regression] Fingerprint authentication (libpam-thinkfinger, libpam-fprint & libpam-fprintd) not working with basic sudo -- [Maverick regression] Fingerprint authentication (libpam-thinkfinger, libpam-fprint & libpam-fprintd) not working with basic sudo https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/609645 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
