Excellent Carlos! I made a file called: /usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.gnome.ScreenSaver.service with the following contents: [D-BUS Service] Name=org.gnome.ScreenSaver Exec=/usr/bin/xscreensaver-command -lock
And now the session menu works. It looks like this needs to be added to the xscreensaver package (i.e. the bug is in the xscreensaver package, not the session menu). I have attached the file as well. If someone could fix the xscreensaver package to install this file this bug would be closed. ** Attachment added: "This file needs to be placed in /usr/share/dbus-1/services/ by the xscreensaver package (I'm not sure how to fix the package directly)" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/52691145/org.gnome.ScreenSaver.service -- lock screen fails with xscreensaver https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/528094 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
