In a 5.1 analog output setup, adjusting volume in gnome-volume-control
will raise and lower the master volume. That is ok, what's not is that
it also moves all the pcm levels to 100 thereby creating possible
distortion and or clipping.
gnome-volume-control should only affect the master volume level
