I do not believe that it is reproducible. Volume controls has changed considerably from the two pictures I had posted long ago. I believe the old release had pulseaudio volume control installed, that does not appear to be the case anymore. Lucid no longer has that under the sound and video of the applications menu now it is administered through the left click of the sound icon on the top panel of the desktop, which appears to work fine for me.
