I have the same problem with Maverick.
The kernel is 2.6.35-12, if I connect the disk controller Jmicron not give me
errors.
The lspci-k shows this in relation to Marvell 9123 controller:
05:00.0 SATA controller: Device 1b4b:9123 (rev 10)
Kernel driver in use: ahci
Kernel modules: ahci
