Binary package hint: synaptic

when i tried to install the package 'eclipse' I get (transated from
swedish)

following package has dependencies which wil not be satisfied:
 eclipse : dependend of: eclipse-jdt (>= 3.5.2-3) but will not be installed
           dependent of: eclipse-pde (>= 3.5.2-3) but will not be installed
E: broken package

but I could install these packages separately and eclipse works just fine.
and when I have these packages installed and try to install eclipse again, it 
wants to uninstall these packages.
