hmm, this dosn't sound like a 'bug' to me, more like a wishlist. I think nautilus is behaving fine, the whole point of read-only is that the files permissions are rigged to not allow you to edit the files / delete them.
As nautilus's abilities are based upon your user privilages. Nautilus cant edit the files / delete them either. Again.
