** Description changed: This regards the Desktop-based viewport switching tab in ccsm. I set "Move Next" and "Move Prev" so that the cursor must be on a screen edge to switch desktops (when I use the mouse wheel). It worked fine in Gutsy, and it works well in Jaunty with this exception. If I open one or more windows on a given desktop, scrolling along the screen edges no longer does anything. Note that if I minimize the window(s), normal functionality resumes. This is not related to window position (i.e. touching/overlapping edges). EDIT: Actually, it seems to deal with application focus. If no applications are focused, it works with open windows. Of course, switching to a viewport with a window open causes that window to gain focus. Thanks for your time. Sorry if I did anything wrong, this is my first report. =) + --- + Architecture: i386 + DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 + InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS "Lucid Lynx" - Release i386 (20100429) + NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia + Package: compizconfig-settings-manager 0.8.2-0ubuntu1 + PackageArchitecture: all + ProcEnviron: + LANG=en_US.utf8 + SHELL=/bin/bash + ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-24.38-generic 2.6.32.15+drm33.5 + Tags: lucid + Uname: Linux 2.6.32-24-generic i686 + UserGroups: adm admin cdrom dialout lpadmin plugdev sambashare ** Attachment added: "Dependencies.txt" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/52790494/Dependencies.txt ** Description changed: This regards the Desktop-based viewport switching tab in ccsm.
