I have 6.06. And BTW - after playing with it I find that if I input,
say, Sep 10, 07 it will record 10/09/07 but if I put in 10 Sep it will
still return 10/09/07. This is even though I have set "Text" as the
format for these cells.

Can you, I hope, answer a question for me please. I am too new at this
to figure things out yet.

I just downloaded a template (application?) of a check register from a
free site to run on my OpenOrg Calc spreadsheet. I have no clue where
it downloaded to on my machine as it didn't ask me where to put it. It
should work on my spreadsheet but I don't know where to tell the
spreadsheet program to find it on my computer.

There must be a default directory where downloads are put but I don't
know what/where it is.

Any ideas???

Thanks

JJ
