yes, I can confirm that hplip-gui has come back to working. It sems, that some of the dependencies have changed. But I am glad, that this useful tool works again. Thanks for this work and please keep up this package in Ubuntu. especially for beginners, this is a very easy way to install hp-printers, otherwise than using gnome-config-printer or something like that. I also hope, that this tool will be integrated into further Ubuntu-distros. It would be an annoying fact, if such a helpful tool would be dropped.
