Hi Marshian and thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better! You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. I've also been running the latest sound driver with your hardware in an emulator, and it seems to be working there, so I'm wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release, and latest sound drivers (without any model= option), according to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Audio/InstallingLinuxAlsaDriverModules ?
