Binary package hint: plymouth
This is ridiculous, 2 out of 3 boots fail, randomly, when it actually
succeeds , I get this message:

I have 4GB of RAM so I take this as a direct insult....
I tried to fix this issue by removing plymouth which never worked for me
anyway, but it turns out for some reason a zillion of unrelated!!! packages
depend on it like alsa-utils, apache2 and so on. How could these packages
depend on a graphical boot loader? it blows my mind.
I would be happy with a solution that disables this abomination from my system.
(I know my tone is harsh, but don't expect anyone to be more constructive about
issues like this.)
