** Description changed:

  After changing the 'default zoom level' of the desktop icons via any file 
browser window>Edit>Preferences from the default 100% to 66% the columns of 
icons on the desktop get unevenly spaced as shown in the attached screenshot.  
Using Jaunty 32-bit desktop edition.  I'm using a 19" Samsung monitor, 1440*900 
resolution.
