upgrading cdrdao to 1.2.3 eliminates the error message.
what happens now is that the mounted CD-ROM is not unmounted before copying to
image.
args are like this
BraseroBurn: (at burn-process.c:142) BraseroCdrdao got varg:
BraseroBurn: (at burn-process.c:146) cdrdao
BraseroBurn: (at burn-process.c:146) read-cd
BraseroBurn: (at burn-process.c:146) --device
BraseroBurn: (at burn-process.c:146) /dev/sr0
BraseroBurn: (at burn-process.c:146) --read-raw
BraseroBurn: (at burn-process.c:146) --datafile
BraseroBurn: (at burn-process.c:146) /home/alpha/brasero.toc.bin
BraseroBurn: (at burn-process.c:146) -v
BraseroBurn: (at burn-process.c:146) 2
BraseroBurn: (at burn-process.c:146) /home/alpha/brasero.toc
and it fails:
BraseroBurn: (at burn-job.c:1174) BraseroCdrdao asked to stop because of an
error
error = 5
message = "The drive is busy"
invoking cdrtdao manually yields the following:
> cdrdao read-cd --device /dev/sr0 --read-raw --datafile bla.toc.bin -v 2
> bla.toc
Cdrdao version 1.2.3 - (C) Andreas Mueller <[email protected]>
ERROR: Unable to open SCSI device /dev/sr0: Device or resource busy.
ERROR: Please use option '--device {[proto:]bus,id,lun}|device', e.g. --device
0,6,0, --device ATA:0,0,0 or --device /dev/cdrom
ERROR: Cannot setup device /dev/sr0.
zsh: exit 1 cdrdao read-cd --device /dev/sr0 --read-raw --datafile
bla.toc.bin -v 2
when I umount /dev/sr0 everything is fine.
brasero should umount the medium itself, shouldn't it?
