I've discovered a work around for this bug.

First some extra notes that I forgot to mention about replicating this bug:
1. Both accounts should lock after an amount of time specified by the default
screen saver settings in Ubuntu.
2. You should be logged into the other users account for a long period of time
(this bug occurs after I've left the computer on over night so at least 6 to 8
hours, and not the 12 that I mentioned in the first message).

The work around:
Log into the currently active non-administrative user account before switching
out of it back to the administrative account.

Result:
For whatever reason this seems to keep the administrative account from logging
out when you select the login button.

Again, if there is any extra information that I can give to help track
down this bug further please let me know.

When switching to another user account, after about 12 hours I get logged out
when I try to switch back to my account.
