eska, that did not fix it for me. I purged that program and deleted "/usr/share/mime/packages/amazonmp3.xml" and "/usr/share/mime- info/amazonmp3.keys" and "/usr/share/mime-info/amazonmp3.mime". I am still unable to install banshee 1.7.3
