Fabio,
In answer to your question on KB and Mouse, On my machine it is still an ongoing problem, even with the latest releases. I use a Logitech cordless KB and Mouse, the installation system incorrectly assumes this is a "Bluetooth" device and not a USB HID device. This causes the driver to lock up, and the only way I have found to get around it is to use an old PS2 KB and mouse, until the system is installed, and I can change the configuration files in /etc to turn off or remove the Bluetooth drivers, removal is difficult as the Kubuntu team have tied the bluetooth stuff, into the system as a dependency, this is not a good idea! A solution could be to not automatically install and configure Bluetooth, except as an installation option, not automatically. Personally I don't use any Bluetooth or wireless network devices, nor do I ever intend to do so, they are not required or needed on a desktop workstation or server. Not everyone uses a laptop or netbook, etc. Thanks Craig Brashear On 08/05/2010 09:43 AM, Fabio Marconi wrote: > Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu > better. > Is this bug reproducible with the latest Lucid packages ? > Tanks in advance. > > ** Changed in: ubuntu > Status: New => Incomplete > -- keyboard/trackpad hang on boot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/399650 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
