release of Ubuntu!
I've trying to analyze your problem and notice that on HDA node 0x0C,
the speaker is disabled. I don't understand how this can be though,
because when the chip is set up, the node 0x0c should be initialized
correctly.
Anyway, if you open "alsamixer -D hw:Intel", there should be a "speaker"
bar, that you could try muting and unmuting (press the "M" button). Does
that help?
