Public bug reported:

I'm unable (I don't know how) to remove kayboard switcher from gnome-
panel. I just upgraded to latest ubuntu, I never used this keyboard
switcher and it suddenly appeared in my notification area. I can't
remove it because it's not an applet, and I don't know how to get rid of
it. pgrep-ing for some random keyboard related terms gave no results.
How are users supposed to get rid of it if they want to?
