@Erick, sorry can't help you with your wubi problem. It's always just worked for me - on a variety of machines. While I can and do pass on known fixes to others, I haven't come across a known fix or workaround to your issue. I suppose you could install 9.10 wubi and upgrade to 10.04. It's a pain, but should work. Don't forget about the 9,10 wubildr bug.
