Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: openbox
When trying to open .torrent file in both Ubuntu and Lubuntu for the
very first time, Transmission opens three windows: the "main"
Transmission window, "Torrent Options" window and a nameless dialog with
"Transmission is a file sharing program blah-blah..." first launch
warning. In both mainstream Ubuntu and Lubuntu, the system waits until
user closes the dialog, then allows to interact with "Torrent Options".
However, closing the dialog becomes difficult under Lubuntu. The dialog
has focus by default, but it is covered by "Torrent Options".
Apparently, in the "windows stack" the "Torrent Options" window is
_always_ "above" the dialog, no matter what you do, no matter which of
the two has focus. The user must (1) guess why "Torrent Options" window
is not responding to input, and then (2) rearrange windows placement to
see the dialog contents and click the required button.
I'm reporting this as openbox bug since it works normally under Ubuntu:
the window that has focus is drawn as topmost window, thus the user
doesn't have problems to read the message, close the dialog and get back
to "Torrent Options".
In order to reproduce the situation, you should delete (or better move
somewhere) your ~/.config/transmission, then open any torrent file.
