Ubuntu 10.10 Alpha 3 has CouchDB 1.0, which is affected by a serious data loss bug: http://couchdb.apache.org/notice/1.0.1.html It should be updated to CouchDB 1.0.1 as soon as the release is cut (next couple of days). This bugfix-only micro release also includes some other important fixes that should be included.
