Here is my experience with E6410 with Intel Graphics: With kubuntu 10.04 current kernel (2.6.32-24-generic): - Laptop installs and boots correctly. I can attach the VGA screen after boot and get it working fine. - But if I boot with the VGA screen plugged in, it "crashes" (screens remain black, and has to be powered off for restart)
With linux-image-2.6.32-24-generic_2.6.32-24.39~lp561802manjo1_amd64.deb: - The DP1 screen (laptop screen) always stays black, with or without an external screen. With VGA plugged in, the display sets up there.
