If you are going to mark bug reports "Invalid" Please state why you are marking it invalid.
I thought maybe the bug had gone away due to some other fix. I tried using cheese to record video, and successfully recorded a video, but it had no sound. I went to System->Preferences->Sound and found that the system had arbitrarily switched my sound input from my Microsoft Lifecam Cinema to the ATI HDTV Wonder card in my system. I switched it back to the web cam and tried to record a video with Cheese. Cheese hung when I started recording video. A few times back and fourth proved to me that when my audio input device is the Microsoft Lifecam Cinema, Cheese will hang.
