Is there an updated BIOS for this system? Sounds like a BIOS bug.

Will help in making sure the kernel bugs are handled in a way that helps
us track them better. The main thing with this one is that it's
confirmed/medium, but not assigned to anything. Generally confirmed gets
assigned to ubuntu-kernel-team (in this case, ubuntu-kernel-acpi since
it seems to be an acpi issue) so we know it's ready to be debugged.
