Hi, I would like to help. Could you please tell me exactly which version should I try? The latest one is for Maverick and I am using Lucid... so I am confused here. Are there any specific instructions on how to test if the problem is fixed? I discovered the error when I installed the nvidia drivers for my graphic card. Should I install the drivers in the new kernel to try it? Thanks,
Marcelo. ----- Mensaje original ---- De: kernel-janitor <[email protected]> Para: [email protected] Enviado: miércoles, 11 de agosto, 2010 16:36:09 Asunto: [Bug 612041] Re: Lucid - Hybrid NVidia Card not working in Toshiba M640 Hi Marcelo, If you could also please test the latest upstream kernel available that would be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream-testing' tag. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the 'needs-upstream-testing' text. Please let us know your results. Thanks in advance. [This is an automated message.
