I'm not sure how GParted handles such partitions, so I'm not going to
express an opinion on this (we'll wait until somebody more knowledgable
comes along). In the meantime, that logfile may not be absolutely
neccesary to diagnose the problem, so I'm setting the bug to confirmed.
