this bug seems like the closest match for a problem i noticed today, so i thought i'd add my .02.
i'm running Jaunty on a Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop, with Firefox 3.6.8 . today, after no system changes that i was aware of, i lost keyboard control in Firefox. i could use the touchpad to control Firefox fine, and i could perform certain "meta" tasks like Ctrl + L, etc, but i couldn't control a given window with the keyboard: things like scrolling down with the down arrow or Page Down keys, tabbing through form fields or links, or copying selected text via Ctrl + C. per notes i read on https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/584513 , i experimented with disabling Firefox add-ons. when i disabled the Delicious Bookmarks add-on (version 2.1.102), and restarted Firefox, the problem seemed to go away... -- Firefox does not respond to keyboard. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/329175 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
