Updating to edgers ppa causes mutter to not work either. Mutter just hangs.

Trying netbook release/unity using a live cd also gives the same problem, [keeps reloading with white page]. Tried to run ubuntu-bug while the reloading occurred but could not, as the terminal would loose focus Had to exit from the session and login via an Ubuntu desktop session to file this bug.
