sorry, it told me to open the terminal and type in: sudo add-apt-repository "deb http://archive.cananical.com/lucid partner" I did that and got the normal cursor. The next instruction said type in: sudo apt-get update
That didn't work. -- I get this when I try to open Synaptic...it doesn't say where to repoort it so here it is: E: malformed line 43 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list (URI parse) E: the list of sources could not be read. Go to the repository dialog to correct the problem.
