I really appreciate your effort, Alexander...I tried what you said and did the sudo gedit command. It asked for my password so I typed it in. That gave me a whole screenful of text that starts out talking about Ubuntu 9.04...am I supposed to click the link you gave me and paste that over the top of this, or what? (I haven't done anything except the gedit part so far)
