** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: software-center

After opening an application from the homepage of the software center,
using the breadcrumb-system to navigate back to the first page and
repeating the process a few times, I decided to try using the
forward/back buttons to navigate back to one of the first apps I had
  opened.

However, the forward/back buttons were only able to show me the very
latest application description I'd had open, no matter how many times I
- pressed them, although it did show the correct name of the application
- page it should have been showing, as the attached screenshot shows.
+ pressed them, although the breadcrumb did show the correct name of the
+ application page it should have showed, as the attached screenshot
+ shows.
