Thank you for reporting this issue. Many times this is caused by the
theme being used. Could you try using a different theme (Applications ->
Settings -> Settings Manager -> Appearance), (Applications -> Settings
-> Settings Manager -> Window Manager). Also, is Maximus the only
application with this issue?
>From the screenshot, I only see Synaptic Package Manager open with
Maximus marked as installed. I do not see the panels or any other
borders.
