I installed maverick alpa3 brand new install on my computer. I installed ndiswrapper-common, -utils and ndisgtk from the alpa3 CD, and then added my windows wireless driver. Trying to connect to my wireless using ndiswrapper generated a 'kernel oops'.
I have no problems using the above technique to get my wireless working on a fresh lucid install. -- ndiswrapper can scan for SSIDs but cannot connect on any kernel newer than 2.6.34-5.14 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/613796 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
