Was updating a fresh install of Ubunutu 64-bit 9.10  (10.04 wouldn't
boot!).  Motherboard = Asus P54G41T-M LX, processor = Intel E7500.
Update hung at the point of configuring grub and wouldn't boot the
updated version.
