@Lionel i also had problem with vlc playing DVD so in some wiki about rescrited i installed also gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly-multiverse gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad now checked - that didnt help for http://www.tvnet.lv/mazaiserglis but helped for http://www.subgenius.com/bigfist/ears/soundz/01HOLE/BOBUNCUT.wav while tryng 1st link and then opening 2nd got again parole-media-crash bug 618321
