Try installing this package: http://packages.ubuntu.com/lucid/pinentry-
qt

If doesnt work yet, then

check your gpg.conf file on ~/.gnupg/ directory.

Find "pinentry-program" sentence, if not exist add this lines onto the
config file:

pinentry-program /usr/local/bin/pinentry-qt
no-grab
default-cache-ttl 1800

(change the path "/usr/local/..." for the right) and restart gpg-agent

If doesn t work too, you can try with pinentry-gtk-2 executable.
