Hi, I am experiencing this bug too, with an Acer Aspire 1692 ; the kernel is 2.6.32.24-generic-pae from an up to date 10.04 Note that: - the computer seems to boot correctly, since doing blindly : Alt-F1 + <login> + <pwd> + sudo -s + <pwd> + reboot successfully reboots the machine in a normal state - Alt-SysRq+K seems to work correctly according to disk / wifi activity but the blank screen remains => seems to confirm that this is a graphic related bug
(BTW, resume from hibernate works correctly but is triggered automatically right after hibernating (without doing anything) which makes the feature useless...)
