Binary package hint: pulseaudio
Using Ubuntu 10.04 on an Acer Aspire X3200. All worked ok initially, just
replaced the case and no sound.
Speakers ok and plugged in correct socket. This time nothing is shown under
hardware, it was before.
It appears not to detect the onboard card.

No sound, the hardware not listed (Realtek ALC 888) it did work on initial
installation.
