Binary package hint: simple-scan
While trying out the new grayscale scanning in text scan mode I observed
a crash (bug #618706) when saving in the default PDF format. So I
switched to PNG by modifying the default file name's extension to PNG.
This avoided the segmentation fault, but the saved file contains only
the first around 15-20 % of the image data. When opening the file with
the "display" command the image window has the correct size but only the
upper part of the window is filled with image data.
