Binary package hint: xpdf
the current patches applied to make xpdf use poppler are only valid for
poppler 0.12. these patches need to be updated since for 0.14, which
appears to be the only version available in maverick. this
incompatibility causes xpdf to always segfault. you could also continue
to provide a poppler 0.12. i am the debian maintainer if you have
questions.
as things stand right now, this xpdf package is unreleasable.
