Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution
I have been trying in vain to set up my Evolution Mail to connect to my Gmail account. It shows the Inbox with '1 unread, 405 total' but nothing in the panel where the subject line should appear and I am not able to read the email. There seems to be no way to set the port that is to be used, but I have appended it to the server as : -- Receiving mail : imap.gmail.com:993 Sending mail : smtp.gmail.com:587 I can see activity but nothing seems to finish. apt-cache policy evolution evolution: Installed: 2.26.1-0ubuntu2 Candidate: 2.26.1-0ubuntu2 Version table: *** 2.26.1-0ubuntu2 0 500 http://nz.archive.ubuntu.com jaunty-updates/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 2.26.1-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://nz.archive.ubuntu.com jaunty/main Packages p...@paul-artistx07:~/Documents/KonsoleHistories$ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 9.04 Release: 9.04 p...@paul-artistx07:~/Documents/KonsoleHistories$ This is ArtistX 0.7 upgraded to Ubuntu 9.04 ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/evolution Package: evolution 2.26.1-0ubuntu2 ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: evolution Uname: Linux 2.6.28-19-generic i686 ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- Unable to read inbox in Gmail IMAP - shows numbers but nothing else https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/619799 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
