Hi David I haven't edited the file at all. All i have done is install Ubuntu and install some apps. The sound wasn't working so I read some forums and found that this fixed the problem. As I said some had no sound, some were jerky and some were fine.
So why not use this file to fix the same problems for others? Andy P.S I have attached my /etc/openal/alsoft.conf file. ** Attachment added: "alsoft.conf" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openal-soft/+bug/618286/+attachment/1498628/+files/alsoft.conf -- Many applications and games have sound issues as default https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/618286 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
