For me, the network manager still seems to forget the mppe setting from time to time. It works several times but then it more or less randomly decides to reset the "Use MPPE"-checkbox. Maybe it has to do with reconnecting to the wireless network or with the auto-connect setting. I am using Kubuntu 10.04 and network-manager-pptp-kde 0.9
