I took a closer look at the comments in bug 389182 and you have tried Okular with your PDF files, which still came out blank.
So I think this is most likely a bug with Poppler (the PDF rendering backend for both Evince and Okular). Unfortunately, since you cannot attach the problematic PDF files, we cannot fully help you out. However, I did see this information about your files: they were created with Paolo Gios' software.
