On Ubuntu 10.04 i do the following:
- go to suspend via "Indicator Applet Session 0.3.7"
- just after the screen goes blank hit escape key
- the login window should appear prompting for login, suspend is cancelled
- login with your correct data
- you are now logged and and can see your window manager again
- now the session will be suspended
- resume your computer from suspend then
i would expect:
- a login window to login my session
i get:
- i'm instantly logged in without further confirmation
