Public bug reported: The D-Link router is the DIR 615.
Previously, I have had no problems connecting to the WPA encrypted network I have set up. Periodically, I will suddenly find my laptop disconnected from the wireless network after connection has been established, and have been unable to re-establish the connection unless I reboot my laptop. I have since discovered that the following commands found here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingNetworkManager achieve the same purpose. $ sudo killall NetworkManager $ sudo modprobe -r ath9k $ sudo modprobe ath9k $ sudo NetworkManager The problem seems to occur at random, so I am unable to reproduce it. But I will see whether I can submit a syslog when it happens next time.
