Thunderbird was upgraded today along with the new kernel. Everything I
try to do, from clicking on a message to checking account settings
causes it to terminate. It's getting worse - I can't start it at all
anymore. It appears briefly in sysinfo then terminates.

How can I revert to a previous version? I need Thunderbird to be able to
continue testing Maverick, as it's an integral part of my work.
Evolution just doesn't do what Thunderbird can do with the right
plugins.

I'm not dumb enough to rely on it exclusively, as my other partition
runs on Lucid, and the mail folders contain the same messages. It's just
that I can't use Maverick during business hours without Thunderbird.
